Dope Body share video for 'Repo Man'

Baltimore noise rockers Dope Body have unleashed the video for Repo Man, the first from their rousing new LP Lifer (which we reviewed here this month).

The video, which also features the album’s opening salvo Intro, mixes home video footage with a trawl through the various faces of their struggling home city.

While they may have found focus on Lifer, the band’s hard edge is still evident both on record and right here. Speaking to us earlier this month, drummer David Jacober said: “I think part of what we do is just about people who are rough around the edges and fucked up. We grew up in suburbs outside Baltimore around some pretty trashy people and we don’t deny that.”

Dope Body’s new album Lifer is out now, via Drag City.

FROM THE ARCHIVE:

“The very idea of being in a band in 2014 is pretty stupid” – Andrew Laumann and David Jacober on Dope Body, the new album, and life on tour
