T-BREAK SUBMISSIONS: 1 WEEK TO GO
Aspiring and emerging bands have just one week left to put in their applications and demos to play the T Break stage at this year's T in the Park (11-13 Jul). We recently spoke to Hector Bizerk and United Fruit about their experiences of playing T Break – read the interviews here. The T Break applications process is open to any unsigned band aged over 18 and based in Scotland. Applications close at midnight on 31 March. To apply, register here. Entries will be judged by a panel of top music industry experts, with the winning 16 bands going on to make up the T Break Stage bill at this year's T in the Park.

One of last year's highlights at T Break were Glasgow's emerging post-rock / electro outfit Machines In Heaven, who commented on their experience: "We had an incredible time playing the T Break Stage in 2013, it was great getting to see what it's like to be involved in such a big festival. Playing T Break has hugely increased our profile... We're doing a short promo tour, playing all of Scotland's cities for the first time and in April doing our London debut! Safe to say we wouldn't be in this position without the support of Tennent’s. We've gone from strength to strength since our T Break appearance. For this reason it's a great thing that Tennent’s continue to support the development of artists like ourselves."
