Festival Watch: Live at Leeds, Oya, EXIT, Latitude, Wide Days and more

A plethora of lineup announcements and additions to share with you today, starting with Live at Leeds (2-5 May). They have added a clutch of names to their bill inlcuding Fat White Family, ¡Forward, Russia!, The Bug, George Ezra, Tennis, and the Dum Dum Girls among others, with a total of 43 new names joining a bill which already includes Wolf Alice, Albert Hammond Jr., Clean Bandit and Fuck Buttons. The Øya Festival (5-9 Aug) in Norway, who have already confirmed Queens of the Stone Age and Royksopp and Robyn, have added a few more names - they will be welcoming the re-formed Outkast, Neneh Cherry & RocketNumberNine, Bill Callahan, Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen and Lulu James to their event. Meanwhile Serbia's EXIT Festival (10-14 July) have confirmed a headline set from Damon Albarn – he joins the bill alongside Disclosure, Skrillex and others. Details and tickets here.

Over at Latitude (17-20 July), a whole slew of names have been added to the already-impressive bill, with the main stage now featuring The Black Keys, Editors, James, Crystal Fighters, Kelis, The Afghan Whigs and Tinariwen. Mogwai, Lykke Li, The War On Drugs, Sohn, Temples, Parquet Courts, Conor Oberst and others join the Radio 6 Music stage, and a huge lineup of comedy talent has just been announced, including Dara O'Briain, Tim Key, Josie Long and dozens of others. Speaking of comedy, the artform gets its very own festival at Altitude (31 Mar - 4 April) in Maryhoffen, Austria, with a lineup featuring John Bishop, Al Murray, Tommy Tiernan, Nina Conti, Marcus Brigstocke, Daniel Sloss and others. Details and tickets here.

For dance music fans, the big announcement this week comes from Creamfields (22-24 Aug), who have revealed their 2014 lineup – they will welcome deadmau5, Sasha, Claude Von Stroke, Calvin Harris, Fatboy Slim, James Zabiela, Redlight, Tensnake, Booka Shade, Seth Troxler, Jaguar Skills, Kutski, Shy FX, Hardwell, Sub Focus, Andy C, Friction and Linguistics, My Nu Leng, MJ Cole, Maceo Plex, Scuba and Maya Jane Coles alongside enormo-trance and house headliners like Armin Van Buuren, Pete Tong, Tiësto, Afrojack and Avicii. Of equal significance is the announcement of The Prodigy as headliners for Global Gathering (25-26 Jul).The rest of the bill has some tasty highlights too, with performances from Chase & Status, Katy B, Knife Party, Annie Mac, Andy C, Jaguar Skills and others, with more to be announced. Details and tickets here.

And finally, an in-the-city showcase for Edinburgh – Wide Days (9-10 Apr) will take place at venues across the capital. The up-and-coming artists announced to play at the industry showcase, which will also feature talks, panel discussions and workshops, are LAW, Tuff Love, Angus Munro, Birdhead, The Jellyman's Daughter, and Model Aeroplanes.
