Withered Hand releases video for 'King of Hollywood'

Feature by News Team | 15 Dec 2014

Dan Willson, aka Withered Hand, has unveiled the video for King of Hollywood ahead of his show at Celtic Connections next month.

In the clip for the New Gods track – penned in tribute to fellow Scottish folk-rocker King Creosote, an occasional member of Withered Hand's band – Willson leads a group of red-caped ‘kings’ on an all-day adventure through the streets of Glasgow.

Withered Hand plays the O2 ABC in Glasgow on 21 Jan, alongside Brazilian rapper Criolo, as part of next month’s Celtic Connections festival. Willson is also set for an appearance at the PopSouth ‘day-and-a-halfer’ at The Glad Cafe in Glasgow on 15 Feb.

King of Hollywood will be the final single taken from New Gods, Willson’s second LP as Withered Hand following 2009 debut Good News; the King of Hollywood single is out on 2 Feb via Fortuna POP!
