Young Fathers announce 2015 UK tour dates

Edinburgh hip-hop trio Young Fathers are set for a major tour of the UK next May and June featuring dates in Glasgow, Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester.

They'll kick off the run of gigs at the Art School in Glasgow on 20 May 2015, with the final show of the tour at The Kazimier in Liverpool on 7 June. The band play the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on 22 May and Gorilla in Manchester on 25 May, with an appearance as part of the Knockengorroch festival in Galloway on 23 May.

Alloysious Massaquoi, Kayus Bankole and G Hastings released standalone single ‘Soon Come Soon’ at the start of the month, which you can hear in the player – the trio won the Mercury Prize earlier this year for their debut LP Dead, which we named as one of our top ten albums of the year in our 2014 round-up.

Tickets for Young Fathers’ May/June UK tour go on-sale on Mon 15 Dec; the band are also on the bill for Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Street Party alongside The Twilight Sad.
