Honeyblood share film noir-style video for Choker

Feature by News Team | 21 Oct 2014

Glasgow noise pop duo Honeyblood have released an eerie black-and-white video for their track Choker.

The film noir-inspired clip, directed by Tardo/Williams, comes ahead of a series of co-headline gigs on the NME New Breed Tour. The duo play King Tut's in Glasgow on 1 Nov, and the Deaf Institute in Manchester on 6 Nov.

Honeyblood have had a busy 2014 – they played our 100th issue party back in January, played the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas in March, and released their eponymous debut album in July – but drummer Shona McVicar left the band last month to “move on to other endeavours.”

McVicar has been replaced by Cat Myers, who features in the video, and has been drumming for the band since McVicar's departure.
