Adult Jazz unveil ‘Am Gone’ video, November UK tour dates

Guildford indie quartet Adult Jazz have announced a string of gigs across the UK next month, as well as sharing the video for ‘Am Gone’.

The band will play the Deaf Institute in Manchester and Broadcast in Glasgow as part of their five-date UK tour in November, with gigs in Leeds, London and Brighton also on their itinerary.

‘Am Gone’ is taken from the band’s debut LP Gist Is, which we described as “consistently thrilling” in our four-star review. Describing the track in an interview with The Skinny earlier this year, singer Harry Burgess said: “The characters in songs like Am Gone and Springful are maligned people who try to be good.

“Those songs are kind of about celibacy, from a religious perspective. That’s what a lot of religions will ask of gay people, or anyone who's different in that profound, identity sense.”

Tickets for Adult Jazz's November shows are on sale now; Gist Is is out now, via Spare Thought.

Adult Jazz November UK tour dates:
10 Nov – Belgrave, Leeds
11 Nov – Corsica Studios, London
12 Nov – Deaf Institute, Manchester
13 Nov – Broadcast, Glasgow
15 Nov – Hope, Brighton
