The final trailer for early Oscar contender The Imitation Game, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, has been released ahead of the film’s UK premiere – and a host of special preview screenings – next week.

The film – which sees Cumberbatch (Sherlock) portray Enigma code-breaker Alan Turing – will receive its UK debut at the opening gala of the BFI London Film Festival next Wednesday.

The film will also be screened simultaneously in a number of Cineworld cinemas around the UK, including the chain's cinemas in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Didsbury in Manchester. Tickets for those screenings go on sale on Friday 3 October at 10am.

The Imitation Game stars Cumberbatch as Turing, alongside Keira Knightley as fellow code-breaker Joan Clarke, with a supporting cast which includes Matthew Goode, Mark Strong, and Game Of Thrones star Charles Dance.

The English-language debut of Headhunters director Morten Tyldum, The Imitation Game goes on general release on 14 Nov.
