Tuesday 1 April will mark the one year anniversary of the launch of the luxury brand Hawes and Curtis' upmarket George Street Store. To celebrate this, the brand will be holding a fashion show in the Dirty Martini Lounge of Edinburgh’s Le Monde Hotel, where they will be showcasing their Spring Summer ‘14 collection.

Established in 1913 by Ralph Hawes and Freddie Curtis, Hawes and Curtis has always prided itself in its high quality luxury menswear. From the beginning, the shirt-makers have been a firm favourite with royalty and aristocracy alike, most famously holding the Royal Warrant for the Duke of Windsor.

Over the past hundred years Hawes and Curtis has expanded as a brand and now includes formal, business and fashion lines for men and women, as well as their original, iconic dress shirts for men. With a guarantee that their two-fold-cotton quality has not changed over the past century, customers can now also enjoy accessory lines that have been added to the brand’s collection including ties, cufflinks, scarves and bags.

In keeping with the brand’s exclusive reputation, the fashion show will be hosted by Edinburgh-based management company Fashion Clinique, who have already undertaken collaborations with businesses such as Covet, Kakao by K and Corniche under their belt. The event itself will feature a raffle with donations from its sponsors which include Le Monde, Penhaligons, Lovella, Couture Lounge, The Ritz Bar and Grill, The News Room and of course Hawes and Curtis itself, to name but a few. All proceeds will go to The Spinal Research Charity.

To guarantee yourself a seat, tickets are £15 and can be found at tickets-scotland.com. Doors open at 6.30pm and each guest will receive a goody bag on arrival. Fashion, charity and goody bags – what’s not to like?
