Behaviour Festival 2014 – Martin O'Connor is looking for performers

Article by News Team | 18 Feb 2014

Theatre maker Martin O’Connor and The Arches are on the lookout for Glaswegian men of all ages who are interested in being part of the choir for O'Connor's new performance piece Theology. As part of this year's Behaviour Festival, Theology examines the place of religion in Glasgow today. Aside from participating in a reconstruction of the Catholic Mass, the choir will also act as a congregation.

According to the original post on the Arches website, the choir has places for 20 participants. No prior experience is required, and travel and expenses will be paid. For those who are not entirely sure about being involved, there will be taster sessions on 24 February and 4 March, from 6 to 8pm at The Pearce Institute, 840-860 Govan Rd, Glasgow G51 3UU. The performance itself features the finished piece at Behaviour Festival in April (14 - 19). As a consequence, rehearsals will run throughout March and early April.
