The Arches cancels club nights following tragic death of customer

Last weekend, a clubber attending an event at The Arches died unexpectedly after taking a contaminated Ecstasy pill. The Mirror reports that Regane MacColl had taken a red 'Mortal Kombat' pill, and was one of five clubbers hospitalised after ingesting pills from the contaminated batch. A police investigation into her death is ongoing.

In a statement on their Facebook page, a spokesman for The Arches commented: "Following the tragic death of Regane MacColl at the weekend, we have made the decision not to host any club events for the next two weeks, both as a mark of respect, and to enable us to work closely with Police Scotland in reviewing the situation. Live music concerts and theatre events will go ahead as normal."

As a result, The Arches have cancelled four club nights in February – three of the four nights have been rescheduled at different venues – find the info below.
