The Skinny Showcase: Martin McGuiness

Dundee-based artist Martin McGuiness uses painting and installation based work to explore the mind, creating site-specific, static representations drawing on real experiences, human interaction and notions of existential individuality. He uses spraypaint and oil painting methods, with marks formed by a mixture of spontaneous movements and detailed control of the materials. He aims "to create a temporary experiential environment unique to the individual."
