All Pixar movies are connected; here's the proof

Pixar confirms that you weren't going crazy. Yes, you did see that evil teddy bear from Toy Story 3 lying on a kid's bedroom floor in Up

It’s official. The animated worlds created by Pixar are all connected. The eagle-eyed amongst you have probably already spotted some of these Easter eggs, such as the fact that Boo, the little girl running amok in Monstropolis in 2001’s Monsters, Inc, has a Finding Nemo toy in her bedroom, or that some Bug’s Life toys are on sale next to the Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story 2. But a new video from Disney released on their Toy Story Facebook page proves this isn’t the half of it.

Every Pixar film evidently exists in an interconnected universe, from the medieval Scotland of Brave to the automobile world of Cars to Wall-E’s dystopian Earth, and some of the clues to this connectivity left by Pixar artists are so well hidden that surely Pixar obsessives haven’t discovered them all.

For instance, did you spot that the shadow chasing Remy in Ratatouille is an exact match for Dug, the squirrel-obsessed Golden Retriever from Up? What about the wood carving of Sully from Monsters, Inc that catches Merida's eye in Brave? Some of the connections are admittedly a bit of a stretch, while others are so obvious you’ll kick yourself for not spotting them earlier.

Take a look at the video in the player below.
