Chris Hemsworth is the funniest superhero

The Australian actor takes the piss out of his fellow Avengers in a video that has appeared on Hemsworth's Instagram

When Marvel's menagerie of superhero characters had an entertaining smackdown in an airport hangar last year in Captain America: Civil War, there was no invite for The Avengers' hammer-wielding god of thunder, Thor. And Chris Hemsworth, the Australian actor who plays the Norse god, is not too happy about it, as suggested by his recent post on Instagram.

In the video, Hemsworth apparently stumbles across a table of Marvel action figures that have been arranged by Anthony and Joe Russo, the brother directing team of the Captain America films Winter Soldier and Civil War. The directors seem to be doing a dry run for their upcoming Marvel film, Avengers: Infinity War. But Hemsworth is a bit perturbed that his own character's action figure is nowhere to be seen.

"Interestingly, there is no Thor toy here, is that on purpose?" he asks a stagehand. The unidentified crew member says that he'll have to ask the Russo Brothers. "Heard that before," says Hemsworth. "Civil War, no Thor."

Hemsworth then proceeds to smash up some of the figures with his hammer, and takes "his friend" The Hulk, who appears with Thor in Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok, off with him. Take a look at the video below:

This isn't the first video we've seen of Hemsworth's character feeling left out of the Avengers gang, as we saw last year in the video titled What Thor Was Doing During Captain America: Civil War, in which Thor is shown having some "me time" with his human flatmate, Darryl.

One thing is for sure, Chris Evans' Captain America may have better films, but Chris Hemsworth's Thor is a hell of a lot funnier.

Thor: Ragnarok is released 27 Oct
