Al Gore has a stern message: if we don't change the way we live, the
world we know will cease to exist. He shows us that - in between
footage of where he grew up and his personal and political troubles - the Earth has been dramatically affected by us and we could soon be in
deep water (literally). Though the furthest thing from a horror movie as possible, it is that reaction the former Vice President wants to invoke, jolting our systems into making changes for the better, showing us not only that we're dooming our planet, but conversely that it's actually a fixable
problem. 'An Inconvenient Truth' is a stirring documentary whose impact doesn't quite hit you until you've left the cinema, looked around at the world and thought "He's right you know." Sadly though, the audience it needs
to reach probably isn't the audience that will see it. [Steve Adams]
