The Xcerts

Aberdeen trio The Xcerts, Glasgow solo artist KLOË, disco-pop four-piece The Little Kicks and Dunfermline's Foreignfox have joined the line-up for next month’s Electric Fields festival at Drumlanrig Castle.

The festival, now in its second year, is headlined by Fife folk mainstay King Creosote, with The Phantom Band, PAWS, Miaoux Miaoux and Man of Moon also on the bill.

In a nod to The Skinny's ten year anniversary, we've been putting together a stage of our own since the start of the year. No less than five former cover stars will play on the day, ranging from Benjamin John Power of Fuck Buttons’ Blanck Mass project, experimental pop producer East India Youth, krautrock disciples Birdhead and post-hardcore outfit United Fruit. Leeds' electro-rock fusionists Vessels, Dundonian rawk trio Fat Goth, SAY Award-nominated Glasgow duo Happy Meals, Catholic Action and Outblinker are also lined up for our stage. Sheesh, is that everybody? Not quite; expect a few surprises on the day.

Electric Fields 2015 takes place on 29 Aug at Drumlanrig Castle, Dumfries & Galloway.
