T Break line-up for T in the Park 2015 announced

Feature by News Team | 29 May 2015

The sixteen bands set to play the T Break unsigned bands’ stage at this year's T in the Park festival at Strathallan Castle have been confirmed.

Rock'n'roll quartet Tijuana Bibles, "staccato grunge pop" group Schnarff Schnarff, experimental six-piece The Claramassa and Glasgow four-piece Catholic Action (who you can read much more about in our forthcoming June edition) are among the bands set to join a lengthy list of T Break alumni from across Scottish music. The full bill of bands and artists selected for T Break 2015 can be found below.

Schnarff Schnarff's Myles Bonnar described being selected for T Break as "the best feeling ever", saying: "We have always believed in ourselves so to get a reward like this makes all our dedication worthwhile. Hearing that we got T Break just catapulted me back to T in the Park '99 – watching Blur play Tender – you envisage yourself on stage and now we can live that dream! We are over the moon!"

The roll call for past T Breaks is something of a who's who of Scottish music over the past two decades, with names from across the musical spectrum gracing the stage since its inception in 1996. T Breakers Mitchell Museum and United Fruit graced our front covers in 2010 and 2011 respectively, with last year's line-up featuring Tuff LoveFat Goth, Deathcats, and our October 2014 coverstars Birdhead

This year's T in the Park is the first edition at the festival's new Strathallan Castle home. T in the Park 2015 runs from 10–12 July, with St. Vincent, Idlewild, Modest Mouse, The Twilight Sad and The Prodigy all on the bill.

T Break 2015 line-up:
Gerry Cinnamon, Amatrart, Dead Man Fall, Catholic Action, Apache Darling, Tijuana Bibles, Our Future Glory, Be Charlotte (AKA Charlotte Brimner), Schnarff Schnarff, Crash Club, The Van Ts, The Claramassa, DIVIDES, Ded Rabbit, Other Humans, Spring Break
