T Break entries open for 2015

Feature by News Team | 06 Mar 2015

Entries have opened for slots on the T Break unsigned bands’ stage at this year’s T in the Park festival at Strathallan Castle in Perthshire.

Any and all unsigned bands based in Scotland can submit their three-track demos via the T Break website to be in with a chance of a spot in the line-up; the judging panel includes MC Louie from Scottish rap act and T Break alumni Hector Bizerk, broadcaster Vic Galloway, and our very own Music Editor Dave Kerr.

The roll call for past T Break bands is something of a who's who of Scottish music, with names from across the musical spectrum gracing the stage since its inception in 1996. T Breakers Mitchell Museum and United Fruit graced our front covers in 2010 and 2011 respectively, with last year's line-up featuring Tuff LoveFat Goth, Deathcats, and our October 2014 coverstars Birdhead

16 acts will get the chance to play at this year's festival at Strathallan Castle from 10–12 July, with St. Vincent, Idlewild, Modest Mouse and The Prodigy all on the bill. Entries for T Break 2015 close on 6 April.
