Liverpool International Music Festival returns this summer with another huge line-up for its fifth anniversary, inspired by the city's Summer of Love theme (which has also given rise to Super Weird Substance's 14 Hour Super Weird Happening).

The LIMF Presents programme once again features a series of themed events and performances: Good Times is curated by rare groove expert and KISS FM founder Norman Jay MBE, while the free-to-attend Garage Classical is presented by DJ Spoony, formerly of BBC Radio One, and Circus Year One comes courtesy of the label's Liverpool-born founder, house DJ/producer Yousef.

The programe is completed by Reminisce: 90s R&B with Trevor Nelson and No Sleep with DJ Stretch Armstrong, with all events under the LIMF Presents banner taking place at Sefton Park Palm House between 20-23 July.

This three-day Summer Jam also returns to Sefton Park, this year starring the likes of garage duo Gorgon City, pop-soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae and breakbeat DJ Naughty Boy, while local favourites ranging from Britpop heroes Cast to the hotly-tipped Louis Berry will also appear, alongside the traditional performance from The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Read the full Summer Jam programme below.

There will also be another series of opportunities for local talent courtesy of LIMF Academy, who offer masterclasses, workshope and showcase opportunities to Merseyside's unsigned musical talent – applications will open on 6 April.
