Field Day announces afterparty details
Joe Goddard and Moodymann to headline events at Mangle and Village Underground in London
London's Field Day festival has announced a pair of afterparties for this year's festival, with the first to be headlined by a DJ set from Hot Chip's Joe Goddard, who releases his album Electric Lines via Domino on 21 April. Taking place from 11pm-6am at Mangle in London Fields, following the close of the festival on Saturday 3 June, the show also features DJ sets from Overmono, Tessela b2b Truss, Lena Willikens and Lemmy Ashton, with more yet to be announced.
The second show, promoted in collaboration with Black Magic Disco, will be held at Shoreditch's Village Underground (3 Jun, 10.30pm-4.30am), gathering Detroit techno DJ Kenny Dixon Jr, aka Moodymann together with Hunee and Dedonair. More acts will be announced in the build-up to the festival; tickets for both shows are available now via Resident Advisor.
Field Day takes place at Victoria Park, London on 3 June. Fourth release tickets are available now, priced £64.50, from the Field Day website.
