A clutch of new bands have joined the line-up for this year's Electric Fields festival at Drumlanrig Castle.

Glasgow duo Honeyblood join the main stage bill ahead of the release of their second album later this year, while the second stage is bolstered by the addition of Mercury-nominated Sunderland outfit Field Music, London pop five-piece Eliza & The Bear and indie troupe Fat White Family.

Electric Fields have also announced that the second stage at Electric Fields will be renamed in honour of long-serving BBC radio producer Stewart Cruickshank, who passed away last year. Electric Fields have also announced a pair of club shows ahead of this year's festival – WHITE will play Broadcast in Glasgow on 24 Jun, while Dixon Avenue Basement Jams will play Cabaret Voltaire on 5 Jul ahead of their appearance on the Sneaky Pete's stage.
