The latest additions to the Electric Fields roster for this autumn's festival are here, with an impressive selection of bands joining the line-up. Brighton-via-Iceland punks Dream Wife – fresh from a five-star return to Glasgow last weekend – join the bill, as does the archive-inspired motorik of Public Service Broadcasting. Also new to the bill are the tropical pop of Slits vocalist Hollie Cook, Halifax indie trio The Orielles, The Horrors, Halo Maud, shoegaze veterans Ride, and the party-starting electronica of Makeness.

The new acts join a bill packed with intriguing names. There are appearances from Edinburgh trio Young Fathers, Ghostpoet, Nightwave, Ezra Furman, and Out Lines – the new project from Kathryn Joseph, Marcus Mackay and James Graham. Also to be sought out are hip-hop MC Lady Leshurr, Brooklyn dream-pop trio Sunflower Bean, Paisley art-pop quartet The Vegan Leather and afro-funk explosion Ibibio Sound Machine. Check out the full line-up so far at the foot of the page.

Electric Fields 2018 takes place at Drumlanrig Castle, Dumfries and Galloway, 30 Aug-1 Sep; tickets on sale now via electric-fields.com
