Arctic Monkeys join TRNSMT line-up
Alex Turner and co head up a newly-announced day of the festival on Glasgow Green
Sheffield's finest Arctic Monkeys are back this summer for festival appearances across Europe, and they've just been added to the line-up for this year's TRNSMT Festival in Glasgow Green this July. Alex Turner and co headline the (disappointingly all-male) line-up on Sun 1 Jul, with support coming from New York post-punks Interpol, Mancunian rockers Blossoms, Southend five-piece Nothing But Thieves and soloists Declan McKenna, Tom Grennan, and Alex Turner's Last Shadow Puppets bandmate Miles Kane.
The Arctic Monkeys join fellow headliners Stereophonics, Liam Gallagher and The Killers, with a fifth headliner for 6 July still to be confirmed; read the full details of the line-up so far below. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Thu 1 Feb, with a pre-sale from 9am on Tue 30 Jan via TRNSMTFest.com
