Dekmantel Festival unveils 2017 line-up
The electronic music festival in Amsterdam features sets from Steve Reich, Masters at Work and Jon Hopkins among a host of big names
The expanded festival kicks off with a special indoor concert from minimalist pioneer Steve Reich on Wednesday 2 August, before a day of live dance music at a host of spaces along the Amsterdam waterfront on 3 Aug. Thursday's line-up features live sets from the likes of Factory Floor, Floating Points, Sun Ra Arkestra, Forest Swords and Nathan Fake across five venues.
The festival's main stage line-up is headed by Jon Hopkins, Detroit techno pioneer Robert Hood, a live set from Bicep and a DJ set from Masters at Work. Jeff Mills and Tony Allen join forces on the Greenhouse stage, which also features sets from Helena Hauff and Joy Orbison, while Dekmantel's UFO stage features the likes of Rødhåd and techno duo British Murder Boys. Dekmantel 2017 takes place in Amsterdam, 2-6 Aug; tickets go on sale on 25 Jan at 11am UK time.
