Come Flyer With Me: Delete The Banjax

THE GARETH
Otherwise known as “The Russian Roulette” – Gaz throws flyers at passers-by indiscriminately in the hope that someone, anyone will buy a ticket. As enthusiastic as he is, the flaw to his technique is revealed when a bizarrely eclectic mix of people start turning up to the show. He has been known to flyer drunken stag dos (they’ll heckle even though it’s sketch comedy), his own family (who have already bought tickets), and old ladies (who think he’s very nice but no thank you, dear).

THE SAM
Otherwise known as “The Hard Sell” – Sam actively corners the target, reads the full blurb, lists awards/star-ratings and practically starts performing  the show right there and then. He always makes the target pinkie-swear that they will buy a ticket and hands them a lollipop for being so lovely. A small piece of his soul is irrevocably lost when a “pinkie-swearie” doesn’t turn up.

THE CAROLINE
Otherwise known as “The Lean-To” – Caz leans against a wall and holds a bundle of flyers in one hand, nonchalantly waving them towards unwary passers-by. Caroline freely admits that it’s not the best flyering technique out there but she’s “not here to win awards for flyering”.

THE DAN
Otherwise known as “The Greggs” – Dan purchases two sausage rolls from Greggs and proceeds to eat them while watching the rest of us flyer. Definitely the least effective flyering method of the four, though Dan insists he’s responsible for 99% of our tickets sales.   Delete the Banjax: Pigs & Ponies – Pleasance Courtyard 18:20
