18 Edinburgh Fringe shows release tickets

The first tickets have been released for Edinburgh Fringe 2016 today including seven in the comedy section. While rounding up the essentials we also caught up with tireless comedy journalist Fringe Dog.

Local heroes Daniel Sloss and Susan Calman were among the first comedians to release Edinburgh Fringe show tickets this week. Sloss will return to the Edinburgh International Conference Centre with a show titled So? and Calman brings The Calman Before The Storm to Pleasance Courtyard.

Comedy fans on the hunt for bargains at ticketed shows will be pleased to know the regular two-for-one dates are on the 8 & 9 August, but don't forget to check the earliest performances for cheaper prices during the preview part of the festival.

But the festival would not be the same without comedy's best friend Fringe Dog who, ever prepared, has already booked accommodation in Edinburgh, and reminds us that preview shows start well ahead of August:

o boy !! fringe time has come a knockin again !! have you started buying tickets yet ?? cos they are on sale now !!

i have just booked my acomodation for the fringe ,sharing a kennel with 18 dogs for only £1100 each for the month . it is not easy to make that kind of money as online journalist ,so i have had to take extra job writing for Your Fluffy Cat ,which is a bit humiliating but we must do what we must do !! i had to pretend to be a cat ,can you believe it ? what a strange world we live in where artists have to pretend to be cats to get by .

keep an eye out for 5star comedians doin previews !! i know there is briliant football and olympics happening this year, but comedians dont get so much money as them ,so do not forget them !

that all from me for now ! see you soon !

love from fringe dog"
