Get a bit o' Bavarian doon ye

Namosh is described as having a "Bavarian Soul and Persian Blood", drawing on this to conquer the Berlin electro rock scene over the past two years. The stripped electro push-the-demo-button-on-the-drum-machine sound is similar to Peaches, and the same goes for the general attitude of 'Cold Cream's lyrics; "I'm gonna do it to you, on Friday night." The rapid change of key throughout the album is probably unnecessary at times, and some of the melodies are a bit uninspired, but damnit there's a certain dirty dirge quality about it that makes you want to have another listen. Not sure if the sampling of cats mewing blended with saxophone added anything however. His take on older tracks like Teenage Kicks successfully translates them to the dance club atmosphere, definitely aided by the Jamie Liddell style of vocals. Get a bit o' Bavarian doon ye.
