Manga's 10th Birthday with Dieselboy (USA)

The Liquid Rooms stood up to a torrent of punishment from what proved to be a full scale assault by both DJ's and party goers alike.

Ten years of experience and a whole lot of bass drew in an obviously excited birthday crowd for Manga's reaction to a decade on the scene. With it came a welcome change of venue, and the Liquid Rooms stood up to a torrent of punishment from what proved to be a full scale assault by both DJ's and party-goers alike. Founder, G-Mac, initiated a history lesson with some classic breakbeat tracks, and then moved through the years, joined later for a killer back-to-back set by co-resident DJ Kid along with MC's Ghost and Feelman. The US no. 1 Dieselboy followed with an onslaught of some of the heaviest, grimiest drum and bass on the scene, dropping everything from Krust's Warhead to some fresh tracks he'd probably mustered on the way to the venue. Along with MC Verse, some intense visuals and lighting, and an almighty sound system, Dieselboy ensured an exceptionally memorable event for this now veteran clubbing authority.[Jonny Ogg]
