Goldfrapp - Fly Me Away

You'll be wanting a bit more of the same

Single Review by Alex Burden | 16 May 2006
Label: Mute
Most people already know what to expect from Goldfrapp and this is really not much different from their other recent releases, but fuck it, Goldfrapp's platinum selling album 'Supernature' doesn't even need you to buy one of its product offshoots to be a success. This is the fourth single taken from the album, and is a more subdued electro-pop offering with rich texture and crystal-clear vocals. Their trademark catchy keyboard hooks and beats are stamped all over it with a gilt stiletto. 'Fly Me Away' is upbeat summer evenings and a nice pasta by the river with your trendy mates. Lovely. Released on May 1.
