Optimo calls time on it's Edinburgh incarnation of Scotland's finest club night, but ensure the old girl goes out with a bang. Saturday night sees Optimo invite Alter Ego to the Cabaret Voltaire before ushering them into the depths of the Sub Club for their infamous (and very much still alive) Sunday night party. Whether you're starting your night at the Subby or adding a few extra hours of revelry onto your post Electric Frog plans, this is the place to be. It's not often that Optimo have a guest back for an encore, but after the success of Alter Ego's last live performance it seems the normal policy was overturned.
For those who missed out last time, Alter Ego have spent years changing the sound of contemporary dance which has led to them perfecting their live performance. Tracks such as 'Transphormer', 'Why Not?' and 'Gary' have become classics over the years, along with their 2004 release 'Rocker', which you may be vaguely aware of.
