Fancy an acid house party in a beautiful Grade II listed pool? The Warehouse Project and Boiler Room have the party for you

In homage to a party the late Tony Wilson held in 1988 at Manchester’s Victoria Baths, The Warehouse Project are joining forces with Boiler Room and Fac 51 The Haçienda to host an acid house special this Easter Weekend at the much-loved swimming pool in Rusholme.

Wilson's acid house pool party, called 'The Other Side of Midnight' (or OSM), was filmed in Manchester's Victoria Baths and broadcast on national TV in 1988. The same pool will be filled up for the first time in 30 years to recreate OSM for a new generation of Manchester clubbers. Take a look at Wilson’s party in the player below.

Joining The Warehouse Project will be A Guy Called Gerald (Live) and Haçienda resident Jon Dasilva, acid house veteran Danny Rampling and newer generation rave pioneers Artwork and MNLTH (Live).

The pool party will run from 3pm to 7pm on Easter Sunday. Request an invite at the Boiler Room website. If you can't make the party, you can watch the live stream on Boiler Room: blrrm.tv/acidhouse

And most importantly of all, don’t forget your Speedos!

The night before: an acid special at Gorilla, Manchester

Before the Speedos are donned on Sunday, Saturday night sees The Warehouse Project and Boiler Room take over Gorilla for another celebration of all things acid. Tyree Cooper, Ceephax Acid Crew, Posthuman feat. Josh Caffe & Steven Simpson are on the bill.

Remaining tickets are available at blrrm.tv/whp, or you can tune into the live Boiler Room stream at blrrm.tv/acid
