SDC x Cottam @ La Cheetah Club, Thu 27 Apr
In 2009, the Preston-born producer Cottam was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a neurological condition that affects the central nervous system, and his sleek EP Breaking Through The Pain Barrier was made during a particularly severe episode that left him housebound. His Boiler Room set marked him as a house producer to watch – plus, all profits from this night will be donated to MS Society's Glasgow North & East Branch (£4+bf).

Prins Thomas & Northern Lights Disco Screening @ Sub Club, Sun 30 Apr
Alongside Todd Terje and Lindstrøm, Prins Thomas is one of the leading figures in Norway's 'space disco' sound. This event features a screening of Norwegian dance doc Northern Disco Lights, introduced by Thomas, who at the conclusion of the film will then take over the decks for an all-night set until 4am (£10+bf / £15+bf including film screening).

Pressure Mayday @ SWG3, Sun 30 Apr

For the May Day Bank holiday, Pressure presents a lineup of completely homegrown talent. That lineup features curators Slam, plus Gary Beck, Clouds, Silicone Soul, a live set from Petrichor, and Telford (£15+bf).

Pulse with Len Faki @ The Liquid Room, Fri 28 Apr
An artist who is at the forefront on modern techno – Berlin-based DJ, producer and label owner Len Faki is an internationally-renowned figure and an acclaimed performer. A resident at Berghain since its opening in 2004, his gigs are an audio-visual adventure; if you've never seen him in the flesh, here is your chance (£20+bf).

Gasoline Dance Machine presents &ME @ The Mash House, Fri 28 Apr
Back for the second time by popular demand, &ME is building a reputation as one of the most reliable and innovative contemporary house producers around. The German selector has put out some impressive EP releases, and also co-founded keinemusik, a collective of Berlin-based DJs and producers including Rampa, Adam Port, David Mayer, Reznik and artist Monja Gentschow (£10+bf).

Haptic x Altitude presents Baltra (3 hour set) @ The Mash House, Sat 29 Apr
Back at The Mash House for round two on Saturday, as Baltra arrives in the capital for his debut Scottish show. The New York native has been at the forefront of the recent lo-fi house movement, with releases on Craigie Knowes, Lawrence Lee and co's Safer at Night and Step Recordings, as well as making an appearance in Mixmag's top 100 tracks of 2016 (£6+bf).

Book Club: Kris Wadsworth @The Reading Rooms, Sat 29 Apr
Uranus label boss, and all-around boss Kris Wadsworth brings his throbbing German techno to Dundee this weekend. Known for his no bullshit approach to productions and live shows, expect plenty of straight up bangers and ruthless floor-filling jams (£10+bf).
