Edinburgh's sold out FLY Open Air event dominates the clubbing calendar, but there are plenty of other bangin' nights to be had this weekend

Horse Meat Disco @ The Berkeley Suite, Sat 20 May
Renowned party collective Horse Meat Disco lead the charge on The Berkeley Suite this Saturday with their swag of killer tunes, ranging from disco, funk, soul and plenty of obscure gems. Plus support from the equally revered OOFT! (£10+bf).

Mind Yer Self presents O'Flynn @ The Berkeley Suite, Sun 21 May
The Mind Yer Self crew are hosting a new series of bi-monthly club nights that put a focus on positive mental health. This Sunday features the talented London newcomer O'Flynn (AKA Ben Norris), whose 2015 debut EP Tyrion marked him as one to watch. All proceeds from the night are donated to Penumbra, one of Scotland's largest mental health charities (£5+bf).

I AM: Daniel Avery @ Sub Club, Tue 23 May 
Ambient techno powerhouse and DJ-Kicks alumni Daniel Avery returns to Subbie for a Tuesday night session in the lead up to the release of new material. It's sold out online, but there will be 50 tickets OTD on the night.

Shapework with Tessela @ The Mash House, Fri 19 May
Ed Russell aka Tessela draws inspiration from the UK’s rave culture. His DJ sets feature broken beats and raw, driving techno elements – perfect for kicking the weekend off with a bang (£8+bf).

Crème Fresh with Flørist @ The Mash House, Sat 20 May
Canadian selector Flørist makes his Edinburgh debut this Saturday, on the back of his excellent EP Dvote which dropped in March. Flørist is the production alias of Logan Sturrock, a visual artist turned DJ in Vancouver's flourishing party scene. Expect plenty of mega-danceable house tunes on the night (£5+bf).

Reckless Kettle presents: The Degree Show Meltdown @ The Reading Rooms, Sun 21 May
Reckless Kettle residents Fergus Tibbs and Mikey Rodger will be hosting their first day-time summer bash at this Sunday. Local DJs Vinyl Matt, Jute City Jam, Stamina, Ethos, and The Marked Men will all feature, plus there will be BBQ food, Italo disco ping-pong session, art and zines on offer (Free before 6pm/£5 after)
