Best mates who play together all the time is always the best combo for an all night B2B set, and Objekt and Call Super make quite the Friday night techno pairing. TJ Hertz (Objekt) is riding high on the back of his excellent March release, the Objekt #4 EP, and Joe Seaton (aka Call Super) joined the illustrious Fabric mix club in February, with an eclectic fabric 92 release spanning house, techno, and ambient tunes (£12+bf).

Clubs in Edinburgh

Sam Gellaitry @ Sneaky Pete's, Wed 10 May
This is the first in a trifecta of local dates that sees Gellaitry kick off in Edinburgh before also stopping by Stirling (13 May) and Glasgow (17 May). His distinctive blend of sparkly synths and steel-toed bass is certainly worth seeing more than once. The young producer comes in fresh from the USA after shows at Coachella and support slots for DJ Shadow’s California dates, on the back of his new EP Escapism III (£8+bf).

FLY presents Chaos In The CBD @ Cabaret Voltaire, Fri 12 May
Making their debut in the capital this month is Chaos In The CBD, the London-based outfit comprised of brothers Ben and Louis Helliker-Hales. The siblings (who originally hail from New Zealand) dropped the dynamite house EP Accidental Meetings in February, the first release on their own In Dust We Trust imprint with fellow London-based New Zealander Jon Sable. Think soul grooves, jazzy percussive swirls, and soothing vocals combined to create a late night lounge vibe with added kick (£10+bf).

Mindset: Theo Kottis @ Sneaky Pete's, Mon 15 May
Mindset brings you the best house music every Monday at Sneaky Pete's; get your fix this week from local hero Theo Kottis, who's back in the capital after a handful of recent shows in the USA (£5+bf).
