Missing Person's Club 4th Birthday – DJ Nobu @ La Cheetah Club, Fri 2 Dec

A celebrated DJ and producer in his native Japan, DJ Nobu runs his own label Bitta, as well as the legendary Future Terror parties in Chiba on the outskirts of Tokyo. He makes his Scottish debut fronting Missing Person's Club's jubilant 4th birthday celebrations, bringing the techno talents he's honed from his stints at Berghain and collaborations with the Smoke Machine crew from Taiwan (£10 + bf).

Animal Farm – Kobosil & Reeko @ The Art School, Fri 2 Dec

He earned a Breaking Through feature from Resident Advisor earlier this year, and plenty of other tastemakers are keeping a keen eye on the young Max Kobosil. The Ostgut Ton wunderkid has already secured his own Berghain residency, plus his own label, and there's also a debut album on the way. Definitely one to watch lead the techno charge at The Art School this Friday, with support by PoleGroup's Reeko (who will be mking his Scottish debut) plus Animal Farm's Quail and Turtle (£10 + bf).

The Black Madonna vs Optimo @ Sub Club, Fri 2 Dec

Chicago's The Black Madonna and our own Optimo go head to head in the name of charity on Friday night, with all proceeds from the event being donated to Glasgow Food Banks. Sub Club have a 4am licence in place for the occasion, so dig deep and do your bit for those in need. There are no online ticket sales - it's £12 before midnight, £15 after (or £8 unemployed, with proof).

Supermax @ The Berkeley Suite, Sat 3 Dec

The last party of the year promises something extra special from the Supermax crew, on top of their always-awesome selection of cult and super-obscure disco gems. Remember the Supermax rules – doors are 11pm sharp and the queue can be huge, so get down early to ensure disco; and the club gets hot, so dress accordingly for the good times (£8 otd).

Numbers: Jackmaster, Spencer, Avalon Emerson, Dukwa @ The Art School, Sat 3 Dec

This Saturday it's also the last party of 2016 for Numbers, who round out the year with a mammoth lineup featuring local favourites Jackmaster, Spencer, and David Barbarossa, plus wide-ranging talent in the form of Avalon Emerson, Jayda G, Dukwa, and Jon K. Fittingly for such a mega offering, the night will run from 10pm-4am (£14 + bf)
