It's A Fine Line (Ivan Smagghe & Tim Paris) @ The Berkeley Suite, Fri 28 Oct

French production duo Ivan Smagghe and Tim Paris bring their eclectic London-based collaboration It's A Fine Line to The Berkeley Suite this weekend, on the back of their self-titled debut album which was released in August. Ahead of the show, we chatted to the pair about the new project, which calls in guest cameos such as Kill The DJ artist C.A.R. and Franz Ferdinand frontman Alex Kapranos, and is flanked by critically acclaimed visuals from Irish artist Gareth McConnell.

Ezup's 3rd Birthday with Young Marco @ La Cheetah Club, Fri 28 Oct

For Ezup's third birthday celebrations comes Young Marco, an exceptional DJ who will be making his La Cheetah debut this Friday. Over the last four years, Amsterdam's Marco Sterk has built a reputation as one of house music's most intriguing young artists. Sterk got his start with Rush Hour, where he began as an in-house designer and eventually did A&R work for the label. The Amsterdam institution released two of of his formative records and from there, he released several records on RH, followed up two 12" on ESP Institute.

Vague presents Catz N Dogz @ Sub Club, Sun 30 Oct

Close friends Grzegorz Demiañczuk and Wojciech Tarañczuk have had a stellar and prolific career as the house outfit Catz ‘N Dogz. Since 2003, the Polish producers and Pets Recordings label owners have become known for electrifying performances and catchy cuts. The duo play an extended three hour set for their Sub Club debut.

Just Announced...

In their usual festive season tradition, Subculture have programmed a dynamite line up of acts at Sub Club this coming December. Dixon is the big name we've been waiting for, with a show on Saturday 3 December – tickets go on sale this Friday 28 October. Chicago legend Lil' Louis brings his prolific tour to the basement on 10 December, with support from Harri & Domenic, and the following week, Tama Sumo takes time out from her multitude of stellar residencies - most notably at Panaroma bar - to show off her skills in the booth on 17 December.
