Tiga & Jonas Rathsman @ Sub Club, Thu 18 Aug

Tickets for Sub Club's huge Bicep Live show on Friday night have all been snapped up; if you don't fancy trying to snag a ticket on the door, the club's Thursday night offering is also well worth a look. Turbo Recordings head honcho and XOYO resident Tiga will be strutting his stuff in the revamped basement, with support from versatile Swedish producer (and BBC Radio's 'Future Star of 2013') Jonas Rathsman.

Sleaze Records presents Subjected @ La Cheetah Club, Sat 20 Aug

Berlin-based artist Subjected makes his Scottish debut at La Cheetah, with support from resident Lex Gorrie. Well known for his string of releases on Electric Deluxe, PoleGroup, Sleaze Records, as well as his own imprint Vault Series, Subjected specialises in distinctly deep, identifiable techno – after all, he's not a Berghain alumni for nothing.

Sunday Circus, The End @ The Courtyard, Sun 21 Aug

For many Glasgow party-goers, this marks the end of an era. After nine years in the game, long running institution Sunday Circus have decided to bring their celebrated parties to an end. The Circus has become an iconic part of Glasgow's clubbing scene, well known for hosting events in unique, irregular and undiscovered locations in and around the city.

Join the crew for one last round of Courtyard antics, with favourite guests Craig Richards, Tricky and Affi spinning the farewell tunes. If you miss out on the daytime, Fabric maestro Craig Richards heads up the after-party at The Berkeley Suite, in what promises to be a glorious send off for nearly a decade of Sunday Circus.

In Other News...

In another heavy blow for the UK's clubbing scene, iconic London spot Fabric has closed indefinitely, following two drug-related deaths at the venue in recent weeks.

A statement posted on the club’s website said: “For the past two years Fabric has operated without incident but tragically in the past nine weeks two 18-year-old boys have died as a consequence of drug overdoses.

“In order to understand how this has happened we have agreed with the police and other agencies to suspend our operation whilst we investigate. The club will therefore be closed this weekend.”
