Healthy feat. Joakim @ The Berkeley Suite, Fri 12 Aug

This Friday, French multi-instrumental DJ/producer Joakim returns to Scotland for the first time in five years, and his headline show at The Berkeley Suite (with support from Ewan Chambers) will be an exciting, unpredictable foray through house, disco, funk, pop and everything in between. Ahead of the show, Joakim shared his top summer tracks with us - see his selections here.

Return To Mono with Slam @ Sub Club, Fri 12 Aug

2016 promises to be one of the biggest years yet in the glittering career of the dynamic Glaswegian duo Slam (aka Stuart McMillan & Orde Meikle), with Slam's Soma label preparing to embark on the 25th year of its epic journey. This four-hour hometown show will be a musical journey through ambient electronica, house and thumping techno – not to be missed!

Fenix presents DJ Sprinkles @ The Berkeley Suite, Sun 14 Aug

Back at The Berkeley Suite, there's a three-hour Sunday set from Terre Thaemlitz, AKA Kami-Sakunobe House, AKA DJ Sprinkles. Releasing music on labels such as Comotonse, Mule Musiq and Mille Plateaux since the early 90s, Thaemlitz’s music merges blissful electronica with deep house sensibilities, and critically combines themes of gender and sexuality via a wide range of production techniques; think electroacoustic computer music, digital jazz, piano solos, and more.

The next three stops in Resident Advisor's In Residence series have been announced, and it's none other than our very own Sub Club leading the charge this September. The global run of parties has showcased some of the most cherished nightclubs in the world, with stints in Chicago, Paris, Offenbach, Lisbon, Helsinki and Barcelona so far - and now Glasgow takes centre stage.

The party opens with a headline slot by dance music legend Sasha on 18 September, with the likes of Barnt, Virginia, Audion and Selvagem performing across the following three dates (23, 24, 30 Sep). Club staples Junior & Barry Price, Harri & Domenic and Optimo will also spin at various points throughout the month.

Sub Club is certainly keeping good company in the series, which then heads to Goa Club in Rome (with shows from Daniel Avery, Jeff Mills and Rhadoo as highlights) and then on to Seoul venue Mystik, where Dixon, German techno legend Moritz von Oswald and Tokyo-born DJ/producer Wata Igarashi all feature.
