Kapital presents Max Cooper’s Emergence @ The Caves, Fri 3 Mar

Belfast-born, London-based Max Cooper returns to The Caves for a full audio visual performance showcasing his new album Emergence, the follow up to his 2014 debut Human. Known for his distinctive, emotive techno productions, Cooper has spent the better part of the last decade crystallizing his complex yet melodic sound.

Emergence is accompanied by a series of visuals featuring collaborators including animator Nick Cobby, mathematician Dugan Hammock, and visual artist Andy Lomas, and film composer Tom Hodge also lends his talents to several of the tracks on the new record. Support comes from Kapital’s resident DJs (£14+bf).

Fractal Club with Prosumer + Virginia @ The Mash House, Sat 4 Mar

Two highly regarded selectors take to The Mash House decks this Saturday, in the form of Prosumer, an ex-Berliner now living in Edinburgh, and Ostgut Ton's Virginia. Prosumer has releases on the Playhouse, Running Back and Ostgut Ton labels, in addition to his own imprint Potion. A former Panorama Bar resident and fabric mix alumni, expect the finest house and techno cuts available.

Another native of Germany, Virginia currently holds down a residency at the aforementioned Panorama Bar, and with previous residencies at Flokati (Tobi Neumann's cult Munich party) and Sven Vath's Frankfurt-based Cocoon club, she's got the best of party-starting credentials. Virginia's sets often include live vocals, adding a unique element to her performances (£10+bf).

Juju presents Footsie (Newham Generals) @ Opal Lounge, Mon 6 Mar

Grime fans can count on Juju for a rota of quality talent – after recently bringing Scottish prodigy Shogun to the capital, they're back this time with Footsie, one half of cult East London grime duo Newham Generals. Best known for their singles Frontline, Hard and Like It Or Not as well as their live shows, the pair earned a reputation for their regular appearances on pirate radio stations (£3+bf).
