Sulta Selects Edinburgh with Denis Sulta & Dixon Avenue Basement Jams @ Cabaret Voltaire, Fri 25 Nov

Since his FLY debut almost four years ago, Denis Sulta has skyrocketed into the clubbing big league. Cabaret Voltaire hosts the Edinburgh leg of his new label Sulta Selects UK club series, with support from Glasgow label bosses Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, who have worked closely with Sulta since the very beginning. With the two outfits combined, this promises to be a monster of a show (£10 + bf).

Karnival feat. James Lavelle's UNKLE Sounds @ La Belle Angele, Sat 26 Nov

Global Underground alumni, former Fabric resident and UNKLE founder James Lavelle hits Edinburgh this Saturday night, under his renowned 'UNKLE Sounds' alias. Since co-founding UNKLE with Tim Goldsworthy back in 1994 – a group which once included producer DJ Shadow – another highlight of Lavelle's long career is his affiliation with Global Underground's City series, with his four ground-breaking contributions (Barcelona, Romania, Bangkok and Naples) showcasing his eclectic style (£10 + bf).

Waze & Odyssey for Coalition @ Sneaky Pete's, Sun 27 Nov

Serge Santiago and Firas Waez's purist house instincts underscore their approach to music, alongside a commitment to innovation, quality and pure, unadulterated good times. Waze & Odyssey have performed at some of the world’s most revered club spaces, including Panorama Bar, Fabric and Warehouse Project, and have also been responsible for a series of releases on influential labels Wolf Music, Let's Play House, Tsuba and Throne of Blood, plus their own W&O Street Tracks label (£5 + bf).

Book Ahead...

With New Year's Eve on the horizon, here are the pick of the end-of-year parties in the capital. Nightvision Hogmanay at The Liquid Room features Jackmaster, Alan Fitzpatrick, and more (from £29.50 +bf) while at La Belle Angele, Karnival see in the New Year with a soundtrack from Marc Houle and Nick Dow (£12.50 + bf). Sneaky Pete's NYE party boasts tunes from Gerd Janson, Telfort, and Ka Mi (£12.50 + bf) and over at The Biscuit Factory ring in 2017 with a three-hour set from The Black Madonna, plus support from nd_baumecker and Bigfoot's Tea Party (£30 + bf).
