Headset: Paleman @ The Mash House, Fri 24 Mar

After making an impressive Edinburgh debut at The Bongo Club last year, Paleman returns this weekend to headline Headset, after a big year including holding down a regular slot on SWAMP 81's Rinse FM show and launching his own record label PLMN.

Hailing from Manchester and now based in London, Calum Lee has rapidly risen through the ranks since emerging in 2012 to become one of the most respected emerging DJs and producers in the UK, with his aresenal of club-ready productions in house, techno and garage (£7+bf).

Denis Sulta presents Isla Sorna with Big Miz @ Cabaret Voltaire, Fri 24 Mar

Tickets are down to the third and final release for this special themed night from FLY Club party-starter Denis Sulta. According to FLY, "we all know how much Denis Sulta loves Jurassic Park, and as such we will be fully transforming the club into Isla Sorna (the island of Jurassic Park)" (£12+bf).

To help us Karnival blow out the candles on 11 years of house and techno in the capital, they've enlisted the talents of none other than the legandary Chicago house don Derrick Carter. He's a DJ whose resume speaks for itself; expect a thumping night filled with disco, soul, jazz, new wave, techno and everything in between (£15+bf).
