L’anatomie with Lil Tony and Lord of the Isles @ Cabaret Voltaire, Sat 22 Oct

Finnish selector Lil Tony is welcomed to Cabaret Voltaire this weekend for L’anatomie. The main protagonist in Helsinki’s dance music scene for a number of years, he spreads his time between performing across the globe and running a number of the city’s top clubs – including the celebrated Kaiku. With releases on labels such as Running Back, Innervisions and Sonar Kollektiv, he's also the co-founder of Helsinki's Flow Festival. He'll be flanked by local hero and Innervisions label-mate Lord of the Isles on the night, as well as Declan Law, Kieran Apter and Ian Hendry.

Nightvision Legends with Lil' Louis @ The Caves, Sat 22 Oct

A true Chicago house legend will also make an appearance in the city this weekend, as Lil' Louis descends on The Caves for Nightvision this Saturday. He clocked up a number of Billboard dance chart hits in the 80s and 90s, and has been sampled by everyone from Laurent Garnier to Josh Wink and Lil' Kim. With a career spanning almost 30 years, he’s back on the road after a freak accident in January of last year left him deaf in one ear. Rather than being forced into early retirement, Louis has bounced back, saying ‘even if I can only hear with one ear, I’ll play twice as loud, so you can feel it’. Fractal Club Launch Party @ Secret Location, Sat 22 Oct

With both the special guest and the venue to be announced on the day, Fractal Club certainly like to keep us guessing. Launching for the very first time this Saturday the secret event will be limited in capacity to just 100 lucky dancers. For the occasion, the party outfit have invited a guest DJ who will be making their debut appearance in the capital.

Need some more clues? "Born in Chile, schooled in New York, and residing in Berlin – the Mystery Jock certainly knows how to make a dance floor go off". Best purchase a ticket and see what all the fuss is about; £1.50 from every ticket sold will go to the Joshua Nolan Foundation.

Book Ahead...

Overground with Mall Grab @ The Mash House, Sat 12 Nov

If you missed out on Mall Grab the first time round, here's a second chance to see what all the fuss is about. Earlier this year, Mall Grab, aka Jordon Alexander, made his debut Scottish performance as Overground's first ever booking. There's a huge wave of hype around the Australian house producer, and he is one of the most fast-rising artists to emerge from the new wave of lo-fi, raw house/techno that is hotly-tipped as the next big thing in dance music. Last time, Mall Grab sold out The Mash House with advance ticket sales on a weekday, so be quick before the next inevitable sell-out.
