Pulse with Marcel Dettman @ The Liquid Room, Fri 16 Sep

German DJ and producer Dettman is regarded as one of the most influential proponents of contemporary techno and is closely associated with techno institution Berghain and record store Hard Wax. MDR019, his first solo release in three years, dropped via his own Marcel Dettman Records back in June, and on the back of this 12" comes his show at The Liquid Room, with support from locals Darrell Harding and Sean Laird.

L'anatomie with Marcus Worgull (Innervisions) @ Sneaky Pete's, Fri 16 Sep

Also on the Friday, Marcus Worgull – a DJ renowned for his knack of playing exactly the right track at exactly the right time – heads up Sneaky Pete's first party to the sounds of the legendary Innervisions. Worgull has been a key figure in the label's rise to prominence over the last ten years, turning out a number of elegant releases for the Berlin-based operation. Nightvision presents Series 5 Launch Party with Groove Armada @The Liquid Room, Sat 17 Sep

If that isn't enough of a drawcard, the six-hour long event also features one of the UK's finest house music talents, Darius Syrossian, as well as New Yorker Kim Ann Foxman (of Hercules & Love Affair fame) and Greek rising star, Hot Creations' Detlef.

Kicking off The Bongo Club's month-long 20th birthday celebrations is none other than Ben UFO, regarded by many as one of the greatest DJs of our time. Having co-founded Hessle Audio with Pearson Sound and Pangaea in 2007, and London-based Ben Thomson is one of the few DJs in the UK to have made a name for himself without entering into the world of production. Don't miss this chance to witness his assured skills as a selector and mixer.
