FLY Edinburgh with Leon Vynehall & Herd @ Cabaret Voltaire, Fri 2 Dec

Making stops in both Glasgow and Edinburgh this weekend, it's the capital that gets to witness this talented DJ and producer in action first. His 'mini-LP' Rojus caught our eye mid-year as one of the best house releases of 2016, and since sharpening his skills in Brighton's club scene, he's graduated to the ranks of Panorama Bar alumni. Herd also makes a welcome addition to the bill (£10+bf).

Pulse 7th Birthday with Karenn @ La Belle Angele, Fri 2 Dec

Pulse turn seven this weekend, and they've got techno legends Karenn on board for the birthday celebrations. The Blawan & Pariah duo are renowned for their unsparing techno and immersive live shows. They'll join a list of esteemed previous Pulse guests, who have included Green Velvet, Ben Klock, Chris Liebing and more (£13.50+bf).

On 17 December, Nightvision have pulled together a killer lineup at The Liquid Room, headed by Danish stalwart Kolsch. Richie Ahmed, Theo Kottis and Jamie Roy also feature on the bill, with further acts TBA (£20+bf).
