UK garage and bass legend Bias returns to Liverpool, with support from breakthrough DJ Madam X. 'Guaranteed to murk it.' 

Prince Fatty
Constellations, 23 Sep, 8pm, £11-£15

Head down to the Baltic Triangle for an evening of dub beats from the British artist and producer, all delivered in an analog haze of vintage spring reverbs and tape echoes.

Circus
Arts Club, 24 Sep, 9pm, £20

Liverpool freshers get a solid introduction to one of the city's biggest and longest-running nights this week, as Circus celebrates its 14th birthday at its spiritual home. Expect boundary-nudging house and techno from a roster of very big names.

303 presents Henry Saiz all night long

Go tunnelling for a six-hour set with Spanish selector Henry Saiz, known for his exploratory tastes and some iconic remixes.

Red Bull Music Academy tour: Liverpool
Various venues, 6-9 Oct 

The Red Bull Music Academy UK tour comes to Liverpool for the first time this year, and there are some great nights to get along to including RBMA alumni and recent Mercury Prize nominee Jamie Woon bringing his soulful sound to the Palm House, a night at The Merchant with Kenny Dope, and a super-special show at Invisible Wind Factory with Detroit icon Moodymann (we're promised laser modules and mirrored kinetic sculptures...). Find out more here.
