The boundary-crossing duo play their inimitable house-meets-garage-meets-pop selections.

Sonic Sahara present Rhythm Section with Bradley Zero & more
Studio 24, 7 Oct, 10pm, £10

After a sold-out night with the one and only Tom Trago in April, Sonic Sahara return to their favourite Leeds venue with Rhythm Section label boss Bradley Zero in tow, plus Manchester's Hidden Spheres. Expect worldly cuts from the Peckham-based label and plenty of love for Hidden Spheres' own recent EP on the imprint, Well Well

Dimensions with Marcellus Pittman

Dimensions festival take over Leeds' Wire club this weekend with Detroit's Marcellus Pittman, plus Cosmic Tom from Cosmic Slop (one of Leeds' best parties) in support. The festival crew themselves are also out in force with the triple-hitting Dimensions Soundsystem on the decks – that's David Martin, Andy Lemay and Simon Scott, spanning deep disco/house through to exotic techno.

Back to Basics: The Resurrection with Damian Lazarus
Church, 8 Oct, 10pm, £12

Leeds' legendary club night Back to Basics opens its very own venue this autumn, marking the club's 25th anniversary year. Situated in St David's Church, Woodhouse Lane, Church is both a club and a music academy and gets a good ol' christening from DJ and sorcerer Damian Lazarus this Saturday. Unsurprisingly, tickets are flying out for what should be a momentous event, so grab yours quickly.

Love Muscle 1st Birthday with Shaun J. Wright
Wharf Chambers, 8 Oct, 11pm, £5

Love Muscle celebrate 'the monumental pump that has been the last 12 months' with Chicago's Shaun J. Wright, who you might know from his lead vocals with Hercules & Love Affair. More recently he and sonic partner Alinka have been coming out with some 'seriously sleazy body jacking tackle' on labels including Crosstown Rebels and Wright's own imprint, TWIRL! This'll be a sweaty one.

Butter Side Up 6th birthday
Wire, 14 Oct, 11pm, £11

Leeds crew Butter Side Up celebrate their sixth year of party-starting this autumn, and to help raise a glass (and the roof) they've brought in Swiss DJ Sonja Moonear. Fresh off the back of a string of dates in Ibiza, no doubt her intense yet playful upper-register techno will be chiselled to precision.
