Acetate #22: Craig Richards & Pearson Sound @ Wire, 3 Feb

Entering their seventh year, Acetate have brought some of the biggest names in contemporary techno and electronica to Leeds: Floating Points, Oneman, Blawan... Not least among them is Pearson Sound; almost a club regular, but always a pleasure to revisit. He's flanked tonight by Craig Richards, long-term Fabric artist-in-residence. From 11pm, £8

Sub:terranea Social with Hearts of Darkness @ 212 Cafe & Bar, 4 Feb

Ain't no party like a free-entry party. Soak up the vibes at 212 Cafe & Bar this evening with Sub:terranea's monthly social, featuring Deadbeat Disco's Hearts of Darkness (Al Bradley and Phil Towers) – you might know them from Distrikt bar, where they've been running their night for seven years, or from their Fabric appearances. They'll be ploughing those funk-driven grooves of theirs, while Sub:terranea's residents are on ambient, house, techno and electro. From 7pm, free

Lord of the Tings: The Leeds Link-Up! @ Mint Club, 17 Feb

Experience the famous vibes of Lord of the Tings for yourself as they make their Leeds debut, bringing the darkest in grime, rap, dancehall, garage and UK funky to Yorkshire after successful nights in Manchester and London. From 11pm, £7

mono_cult 10th birthday @ Canal Mills, 4 Mar 

Already on its way to selling out, book ahead for this landmark birthday for Leeds promoters mono_cult, who're coming out of retirement for a one-off party celebrating a decade of existence (who can blame 'em?). It's a solid line-up too, with Berlin's Panorama Bar resident Soundstream on Chicago house/raw jams duty, taps-aff stalwarts Bicep, soundscapey duo Tale of Us, 90s house veterans Mood II Swing and more. From 10pm, £22.50
