NORF Launch @ Headrow House, 19 Nov 

A new grime night launches in Leeds, promising new-gen grime, bass, trap and road rap with Mez (live) and Radar Radio DJs kicking things off. One to investigate. From 10pm, free 

One Night With... Sadar Bahar @ The HiFi Club, 19 Nov 

An opportunity to spend the evening in the company of Chicago Music Box-educated Sadar Bahar, who's been digging since the 70s but who's risen to prominence in the last decade or so and is making good on that 14,000-strong record collection of his. Expect rare soul, disco and grooves; ideal for the HiFi, then. From 11pm, £10

Back to Basics 25th anniversary @ Church, 26 Nov

In their 25th year, Leeds' longest-running club night Back to Basics have unveiled their very own venue, Church – a chapel kitted out for epic parties with an adjacent music academy. They've named 26 Nov as their official birthday date and are bringing in US DJ Erick Morillo midway through his Subliminal tour. From 11pm, £20
