Don't-miss parties this week

Percolate x Gottwood @ Antwerp Mansion, 24 Feb

The crew at Percolate help warm us up for this year's Gottwood festival with a monster line-up at everyone's favourite tumbledown house, feat. Levon Vincent, Henry Wu and maybe the world's best-named DJ, Ross From Friends. From 10pm, £15.50

Zutekh 8th birthday @ Hidden, 25 Feb

Zutekh still feels like one of the freshest nights on the scene, so it's hard to believe they're nudging a decade old. But eight they are, and they're celebrating in style by bringing in one of their long-loved regulars, Midland, ably supported by Amsterdam's Trouw club regular Job Jobse and word-of-mouth Hotflush Recordings talent Or:la. Hip hip! From 9pm, £15

The Other w/ Luca Lozano, Ruf Dug & more @ Islington Mill, 25 Feb

The co-owner of Berlin-based labels Klasse Recordings and Klasse Wrecks, Luca Lozano makes his debut Manchester appearance flanked by two of our fair city's finest selectors, Ruffy and Rikki Humphrey. From 9.30pm, £10

Fine Wine @ The Deaf Institute, 28 Feb

Since basically all we listen to at The Skinny North is dancehall, we're pretty excited about this new weekly fixture at The Deaf Institute, spinning Jamaica's finest export, plus reggaeton, afropop and more. From 10pm, £4.50

Coded Rhythm present Dense & Pika @ Gorilla, 3 Mar

Techno dynamos Dense and Pika are nothing if not reliable. Signed to Drumcode with an album on Scuba's Hotflush label, they're part of the big-room firmament. Catch 'em in the relatively intimate Gorilla. From 11pm, £14

Yussef Kamaal afterparty @ Band on the Wall, 24 Mar

Hotly tipped new Gilles Peterson signees Yussef Kamaal party on down after their gig at Band on the Wall, with band member Henry Wu – already known as an excellent DJ under his own name – on the decks, plus Manchester's own Irfan Rainy. Expect beats referencing Kamaal's hybrid sound, taking in hip-hop, broken beat, blues and soul. From 11pm, £6 or free with gig ticket
