3 Channels, Off The Record's 5th Birthday, Soundhaus, Glasgow, 1 Dec

Keeping afloat for five years in the gruelling Glasgow club scene is a feat in itself, but with an immaculate reputation and a list of previous guests including Serge Santiago and Switch to their name, Off The Record are doing more than their fair share in providing Scotland with fresh, electric-ridden beats. A forerunner in giving local DJs the spotlight, over the last year OTR has teamed up with Glasgow's very own Animal Farm aka Quail, Lamb and Turtle, who in turn have brought their own unique techno bleepage to the Soundhaus, and with a series of parties planned for 2008 the future looks bright. For their birthday party, OTR has a lineup that includes Mr Copy, who recently came third in Beatport's Slam Remix competition, and 3 Channels, the Polish duo who promise birthday fun on tech-house and electronic tip.
